Financial Tech Sweden was founded in 2012 by the serial entrepreneur – John Grundström. For the first few years, the business had a laser focus on the Nordic Markets, where the company has had a profitable business model since 2nd year of operations.
In 2019, Daniel Bessmert, a seasoned executive with experience from PayPal, Visa, and Citibank, joins the company as its Managing director, and together with John, the entrepreneurs pivot the company and start focusing on Latin America. Today the company is profitable, expanding quickly globally, and looking for more growth opportunities through M&A.
